tile adhesive in powder form

A special form of powder tile adhesive is the so-called flexible adhesive. This is usually more expensive than cement mortar, but contains plastic additives (polymer additives) which, among other things, ensure that it hardens relatively flexibly.

It can therefore better absorb vibrations, tensions and other movements of the substrate. This reduces the risk of individual tiles chipping or cracking. These additives also increase the adhesive strength of the flexible adhesive.

Advantages of flexible adhesive

  • • High adhesive strength
  • • Can be used on horizontal and vertical surfaces
  • • user-friendliness and high efficiency
  • • Low consumption and high installation speed
  • • Can be used in swimming pools and underwater areas
  • • Applicable to vertical and horizontal surfaces
  • • Sufficient slip resistance
  • • Applicable to concrete, cement and lime mortar

Use of tile adhesive in powder form

  • • Gluing new tiles onto old tile, plaster, wood and stone surfaces
  • • Can be applied to structures with tension, contraction and volume expansion
  • • Can be used on precast concrete elements with smooth surfaces
  • • Can be used for structures that require less weight.
